ARE YOU PATIENT OR JUST PROCRASTINATING?
You're wondering when it's going to be "your time."
Your time to get noticed.
Your time to hit the stage.
Your time to tell your message to the world.
Your time to become a multi-millionaire.
You post social media statues in future tense about how "your time" is coming soon and you even pray sometimes, asking God for "your time" to manifest quickly.
And then you sit there, and wait.
You go to a job that you hate, and wait.
You watch TV, and wait.
You talk on the phone, and wait.
You scroll down your Facebook and Instagram feed all day, and wait.
You post Facebook statues about how your haters are holding you back, and wait.
You don't take responsibility for your life and make the decision to stay in your horrible relationship, and wait.
You mismanage your money, and wait.
You complain, and wait.
You let a year, three years, and sometimes even ten years pass by, all while you wait.
And to pacify yourself you say things like, "Patience is a virtue" or "God is just teaching me patience in this season for where I'm going."
But what if that wasn't true?
What if God isn't trying to teach you patience in this season and the patience excuse is something you made up to make yourself feel better for not being where you thought you'd be by now.
What if it's been "YOUR TURN" all this time?
And all you had to do was:
ake the time.
Write the chapters.
Make the call.
Say you're sorry.
Read books on how to steward the millions you've been praying for.
Invest in yourself.
Shoot the film.
Start the business.
You've drug this patience lie out long enough.
Time to face the truth that you're more than likely just procrastinating.
